Prepping Your HVAC System for Spring and Summer

Spring is here (thank goodness!) and that means the hot summer weather isn’t far behind!  Prepping for the beach and pool are fun ways to get ready for the nice weather, but making sure your HVAC system is running smoothly is even more important to us. We want to be sure your HVAC system is ready to handle the hot and humid weather.

Not sure where to begin? No problem! One of our HVAC contractors will be able to inspect your HVAC system to make sure it’s in top shape for the hot weather ahead. Below are a few of the items our contractors check when inspecting HVAC systems.
  1. Check, clean and replace (if needed) the air filters.
  2. Inspect to see if there are any issues with the HVAC unit.
  3. Clean the condenser coils
  4. Check the air ducts and seal any leaks that may have occurred.
  5. Clear out any debris that has settled around the HVAC system, i.e.: branches, trash, etc.
  6. Calibrate your thermostat.
  7. Thoroughly clean the system.
Call New England Cooling Towers today at (978) 649-6001 - we’ll send one of our certified HVAC contractors to your home to inspect your HVAC unit.
